Caller ID fix for 1.1.3
If your iphone shows the number and not the name from the contacts when some one is calling then you must patch the phone number template to fix this.
Here is how to:
1. Download this files on your computer.
2. SSH in to your phone.
3. Optimize the “PhoneNumberTemplates.txt” file from the
“support” directory you have downloaded (by moving all templates for your country to the top of the file
and/or removing templates for countries that you don’t need.
4. Copy the directory named “support” in the /System/Library/Frameworks/AppSupport.framework/ directory on your iPhone.
6. Reboot iPhone.
If your country is not listed you will have to decompose the phone numbers and ad them to your “phonenubertemplate.txt”

Dint work for me on 1.1.4.
I think I should agree with Dave.
I used this tutorial and the files at 1.1.4 level (http://rapidshare.com/files/95811215/phonenumber_fix_1.1.4.zip.html) as suggested by http://despreiphone.wordpress.com/2008/02/29/caller-id-fix-114/#comments.
This is a 4gb version iPhone (oct ‘07) running fine on 1.0.2 so far.
At 1.0.2 level, this was done by modifying AppSupport-10.tar.gz and ABPhoneFormats.plist
I upgraded to 1.1.4 just this week using iLiberty+
